A group of children, some severely disabled, looked at the animated film Iron Giant.  Over a few sessions we experimented with printing from engine parts found in a scrap yard into a bed of clay. Plaster casts were made of these impressions. Some were cut up and the children painted them before they were reassembled. The results were framed and wall mounted for  blind and sighted children  to explore the textured surfaces
