Small sculpture

The sleeping king David is carved in Polyphant stone. The rest are painted plaster. I like painted sculpture and these simple ideas are made like the childrens’ Plaster casters from the latex moulds and then painted. When I was a kid I loved making plaster models of Beatrix Potters Peter Rabbit and the Lewis Carol’s Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.  Mine are all biblical themes just made and painted in the same way.
