St Julian's school Wellow 2008

The children developed a story of Dragon Island by imagining the characters who lived in the buildings they had carved and by building a story together in groups. I supplied the structure for the carving by placing the buildings in the landscape. The  structure for the story was a similar task of placing their ideas into the narrative.
